What is Creative Producing?
Film has become increasingly international. Today, every filmmaker needs to consider the international marketplace to find real success. In this arena, the role of the creative producer is particularly important, because the creative producer is the only individual who sees the vision of the film from start to finish, from the concept or idea through the production process all the way to finding an audience for the film through the marketing and distribution. Thus the creative producer plays the central role in the creation of a film. The program in Creative Producing will offer students at Ngee Ann the opportunity to build the skills they need to develop international projects. Not only will they have the opportunity to tell stories that can impact audiences in many countries, but also they will have the opportunity to work directly with colleagues in international co-productions.
